Refund Policy

Article 1

Free Plan and General Refund Position

1.1 Free Plan. Atelier Pin offers a permanent free plan (“Free Plan”) allowing users to evaluate core functionality of the Service before committing to a paid subscription. The Free Plan includes:

  • Upload of one (1) image per session
  • Generation of up to nine (9) content variations from that image
  • Preview of generated content within the platform

The Free Plan does not include: website scraping, video upload or processing, content download, RSS feed automation, or any other features reserved for paid subscription tiers. The Free Plan is provided to allow users to evaluate the visual quality and core generation capability of the Service.

1.2 General Refund Position. Because Atelier Pin provides a Free Plan enabling evaluation of the Service prior to any payment, all subscription payments are generally non-refundable once processed, except as expressly stated in this Policy.

1.3 14-Day Refund Window — No Download Exception. Notwithstanding the general non-refundable position, Atelier Pin offers a 14-day refund from the date of first paid charge, provided that no content has been downloaded from the Service during that period. A “download” means any export, save, or retrieval of generated content files from the Service to a local device or third-party platform. If you have not downloaded any generated content within 14 days of your first paid charge, you may request a full refund of that charge by contacting info@atelier-pin.com within the 14-day window. Once any content has been downloaded, the 14-day refund right is permanently waived for that billing period, regardless of how much time remains in the 14-day window. This exception reflects that the primary value of the Service — generated content — has been delivered and received at the point of download.

Article 2

When Refunds Are Granted

Notwithstanding the general non-refundable position, Atelier Pin will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

  • Technical failure attributable to Atelier Pin — if a documented, verified technical failure on Atelier Pin’s part rendered the Service completely unusable for a continuous period of 72 hours or more during your paid billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit or partial refund for the affected period
  • Duplicate charge — if you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a billing error, the duplicate charge will be fully refunded
  • Charge after cancellation — if you were charged after a properly submitted cancellation, the erroneous charge will be fully refunded

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge in question to info@atelier-pin.com with subject line “Refund Request” and must include your account email address and a description of the issue.

Article 3

Situations Where Refunds Are Not Granted

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after the 14-day refund window has expired
  • Any request made after content has been downloaded during the 14-day window
  • Dissatisfaction with content quality where the Service functioned as described
  • Account termination due to violation of the Terms of Service
  • Inability to use the Service due to Third-Party Platform changes, API deprecations, or Third-Party Platform account suspensions
  • Partial use of a billing period — cancelling mid-period does not entitle you to a refund for unused days
  • Requests made more than 14 days after the charge in question
  • Claimed non-receipt of generated content where server logs confirm successful generation
  • Renewals of subscription beyond the first billing period

Article 4

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

This section applies only to consumers residing in the European Union.

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, EU consumers have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons (“cooling-off period”).

However, this right of withdrawal does not apply where:

  • The consumer has expressly requested that performance of the service begin during the withdrawal period, AND
  • The consumer has acknowledged that the right of withdrawal will be lost once the contract has been fully performed

By subscribing to a paid plan and using the Service, you expressly request immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that once you have downloaded any generated content during a paid billing period, the right of withdrawal for that period is waived.

If you have not downloaded any generated content within the first 14 days of a paid subscription, you may exercise the right of withdrawal by contacting info@atelier-pin.com within 14 days of the first paid charge. Note that use of the Free Plan prior to subscribing does not constitute use of the paid Service for the purposes of this withdrawal provision.

Article 5

Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or bank. Atelier Pin is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.

Atelier Pin reserves the right to make the final determination on all refund requests. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
